Discover the Great Alpine Road Visitors’ Guide

For more than 300 kilometres, discover the splendour of valleys, mountains, forests, rivers and ocean; on one of the finest and most diverse combinations of scenery imaginable in the country.

Pass through Victoria’s largest National Park, which contains 10 of the 11 highest mountains in the state. During winter the Alpine High Country forms one of Australia’s most amazing ski fields, while from spring to autumn it’s a carpet of wildflowers.

Discover the Great Alpine Road Visitors’ Guide is published six monthly and features all towns on the Great Alpine Road and the many tourist drives off the GAR. Get a feel for the towns and what they offer through the guide.

The guide is distributed through information centres, motels, caravan parks, galleries, fun parks and various other places of interest.

This is a free publication.
