Swans into grand finals

It was the preliminary finals of the East Gippsland Hockey Association at Sale last Saturday, with three Swanny teams battling for spots in this week’s grand final. In the under 13s, Swan Reach played Bairnsdale for a grand final berth. A much-improved Bairnsdale side started off well with an early goal. But Swanny fought back hard and was able to win 3-1, meaning it will now play Nagle in the grand final.
